Onikan Museum gets new curator
A new curator has taken over the affairs at the National Museum, Onikan, Lagos. Her name is Vickie Agili (Mrs), a former Assistant Director, Heritage at the same museum.
Agali replaced Ms Ronke Ashaye, who was widely speculated to retire before the end of the year. Retirement seems not to be coming for Ashaye as she has been "redeployed to Abuja,"

Auction house makes Abuja entry
One of the Lagos-based auction houses is planning to organise its next art auction in the FCT, Abuja. Sources say the auction house is collaborating with two or more art galleries both in Lagos and Abuja with the hope that the attempt will add to the ongoing awareness created for Nigerian art in Lagos through impressive sales.
